Terms & Conditions
New Chapter Coaching
These Terms & Conditions apply to coaching services provided by New Chapter Coaching (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or participating in any coaching service, program, session, or digital resource, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not purchase or participate in our services.
1. Coaching Services
1.1. New Chapter Coaching provides career and leadership coaching services, including 1:1 coaching, group programs, workshops, and related digital resources.
1.2. Coaching is a collaborative, reflective, and developmental process. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice.
1.3. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, job offers, promotions, income changes, or career results. Outcomes depend on individual circumstances, effort, and external factors.
2. Client Responsibility
2.1. You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes arising from coaching.
2.2. Coaching may involve exploration of beliefs, behaviours, career decisions, and personal insight. You agree to engage with the process honestly and responsibly.
2.3. If you are currently experiencing significant mental health challenges, you acknowledge that coaching is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological support.
3. Fees & Payment
3.1. Fees are as outlined at the time of purchase or as agreed in writing.
3.2. Payment is required in advance, unless a payment plan has been agreed to in writing.
3.3. Where payment plans apply:
Payments must be made on the agreed dates
Missed payments may result in sessions being paused until payment is brought up to date
3.4. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations, Missed Sessions & Refunds
4.1. 1:1 Coaching Sessions
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited
4.2. Programs & Packages
Once a coaching program or package has commenced, refunds are not available, except where required under Australian Consumer Law
Access to materials, frameworks, or sessions constitutes commencement
4.3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or emergencies. Where this occurs, sessions will be rescheduled.
5. Confidentiality
5.1. All coaching conversations are treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of harm to you or others.
5.2. We may use de-identified insights or themes for learning, supervision, or marketing purposes, but never in a way that identifies you without consent.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All materials, frameworks, tools, worksheets, recordings, and methodologies (including The Career Move Method) remain the intellectual property of New Chapter Coaching.
6.2. You may not:
Share, reproduce, distribute, or sell materials
Record sessions without prior written consent
Use materials to coach others or deliver training
6.3. Access is granted for personal use only.
7. Termination of Services
7.1. We reserve the right to terminate services if a client:
Engages in abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour
Breaches confidentiality or intellectual property
Fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions
7.2. In such cases, refunds are not provided.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. To the extent permitted by law, New Chapter Coaching is not liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
Career, financial, or employment decisions made by you
8.2. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the services in question, except where Australian Consumer Law applies.
9. Australian Consumer Law
9.1. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9.2. Where a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, remedies will be provided in accordance with the law.
10. Privacy
10.1. We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2. Information may be collected via forms, email, CRM systems, and coaching platforms for the purpose of delivering services.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
